Giving Back: What We are Doing with Profits from Our Book
This is a public impact project, and we take that seriously
When you open our book, immediately after our title page you will see a page that says this:
Louise Story has donated and will continue to donate all of her profits from this book to non-profit organizations, and Ebony Reed has donated a share of hers. These non-profits support education, women’s empowerment and journalism, with a strong focus on Black Americans.
Here are some organizations that we are supporting. We will continue updating this page.
PowerMizzou Journalism Alumni Scholarship in Memory of Terez Paylor
Terez A. Paylor Scholarship Endowment at Howard University
United WE (Women’s Empowerment)
